THE SIGGI
COLLECTION
ABOUT THE COLLECTION.
This playlist is called "The Siggi Collection," featuring tracks I've written for my wife over the years. I've been making songs for her throughout our 16-year journey together.
When we first started dating, I had formed an alternative hip hop group called The Moonshine Kids. Our sound was a mix of N.E.R.D and Gym Class Heroes—honestly, we were just making shit. The group consisted of me, my brother Shaud, and a white dude named Chris Jobe. Chris Jobe was an awesome dude.
We drove all over Texas performing at open mic nights, clubs, and our own shows. We performed in front of thousands at events like the FC Dallas Soccer Game and in front of five people when no one showed up due to janky promoters or other reasons.
The important thing is that my wife was always there, riding along with us to the shows whenever she was in town. We were just dating at the time. You learn quickly if someone is the one for you on a road trip. We're still road tripping 16 years later, not for shows, but for family adventures. And I still make music for her. It reminds me of our younger days, but also because I think it's some fly shit to do. I be singing and errthang.
The songs in this collection are dedicated to my wife, Siggi. They capture our adventure together. This is "The Siggi Collection.

All I Need
The most recent song in the collection, recorded in 2024. I wrote and recorded it on the same day. I was laying on the couch, staring at the clouds when the lyrics started to come together. Inspired, I ran to the studio and recorded it that evening.
Billions
Featured on the Lou Kang: MARTELLUS album. This track is a family flex and a shout-out of appreciation to my wife for always being there. It's a celebration of our journey together.
Palm Trees
Siggi's favorite song. I wrote this when we first moved to Los Angeles, which is reflected in its sound. Collaborating with Keith Jacobs has always resulted in hits, and Mikey went crazy on this one. What a time to be alive.
Pot of Gold
The oldest song in the collection, written in 2009 or 2010 after Siggi and I broke up during our early dating stages. I performed it back then but never sent it to her. HAHAHA. That would've been some sucka shit. I wasn't as emotionally developed then. Lol.
Whatcha!
Probably my favorite track in this collection. It's sneaky good. Shaud's voice was perfect for this track, adding so much grit and depth to the music.
