director Notes

As the director of this stop motion animation, I wanted to create a piece that truly captures the playful and imaginative spirit of Play-Doh. The video features a vibrant football-themed scene where Play-Doh characters come to life and engage in an exciting match.

The process was a beautiful labor of love, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to the craft. Each frame was carefully crafted to ensure smooth and expressive movements, bringing the characters to life in a way that resonates with viewers of all ages.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was seeing how the limitations of the material pushed our imaginations to new heights.

Play-Doh's versatility allowed us to explore creative possibilities and tell a compelling story that celebrates the joy of play and creativity.

Collaborating with Stoopid Buddy Stoodios was an incredible experience. Their expertise in stop motion animation was invaluable, and together we were able to create a piece that not only showcases the fun of Play-Doh but also highlights the artistry and dedication involved in stop motion animation.

The video encourages viewers to "open a can of imagination" and unleash their own creative potential. It's a celebration of World PLAY-DOH Day and the endless possibilities that Play-Doh offers. I'm thrilled with the final product and proud of the team's hard work and creativity.

I believe that stop motion animation is the most human theater experience next to actual theater. It is a hands-on medium that requires physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual engagement, making it a true labor of love.

Final Cut

Creating the World PLAY-DOH Day video was a deeply fulfilling experience that reignited my passion for stop motion animation. This medium uniquely brings imagination to life in a tangible, hands-on way, making it an incredibly rewarding form of artistic expression.

Given the opportunity, I would love to embark on more ambitious stop motion projects. Imagine the possibilities of a full-length feature film or a series of shorts that push the boundaries of creativity and storytelling!

Each project offers a chance to innovate and inspire, and the potential is limitless.

Collaborating with the talented team at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios was an absolute pleasure. Their expertise and dedication were invaluable, and I eagerly anticipate new opportunities to create even more magical and captivating films that celebrates the beauty of stop motion animation and the power of imagination.
