"Slices of Imagination" is a short film that presents a collection of moments from my creative life. This art film offers viewers an intimate look at the things I see, do, and try, capturing the essence of creativity in its many forms.
From practicing the trombone and teaching a class to playing the piano and creating an animatic for a video game scene, the film showcases the diverse activities that make up my life.
Additionally, it highlights the quieter slices of life spent in the garden, emphasizing that creativity is not just about making things but also about the moments in between.
Before making films like this, I don'tfollow a specific direction or plan. Instead, I captures moments of my life as they happen, allowing the spontaneity and authenticity of each slice to shine through.
When looking back at the slices I,ve been fortunate enough to capture captured, I then attemptsto share that experience through filmmaking, inviting both the viewer and myself to indulge in the beauty of everyday life. There is no narrative—it's just living.
